Halloween

The kids were SO excited for Halloween this year! They decided pretty early on that they would dress as Mario and Luigi (from the Super Mario Bros. video games). Well actually, initially they both wanted to be Luigi, but then I think Amelia convinced Andrew he should be Mario since he was shorter. Anyway, the costumes were very easy to make and came out looking great! Both kids had a great time trick-or-treating, and I was especially proud of them for actually saying "trick-or-treat" and "thank you" after receiving candy. I feel like once Halloween comes, the rest of the year goes in to overdrive; Amelia's birthday party is this weekend, her actual birthday is next week, then comes Thanksgiving, then Christmas, etc. Craziness! Now if you'll excuse me, I'd better get a head start on cleaning...
